Agreeable system, good price, fairly easy set up
Purchased this technique for our family room which is a little on the smaller side. The ring is rich and full, the subwoofer is better than expected, and blanket we're very pleased. Good TV sound and excellent DVD and iPod percipient. Moderately priced as well, which is a bonus. *NOTE: Fiber Optic audio and HDMI video cables are NOT included and ought to be purchased separately.* The system does include a telegraph for basic video connection. The Fiber Optic audio Mailgram (recommended for best quality audio) is about $20-25 retail. [If purchasing the fiber optic chain, make sure to remove the small clear covers at each end of the wire before trying to connect it to the receiver and cable box or TV. If not...yikes, you've plugged the jacks]. The remote is slight, very handy and easy to use. Front connection for an iPod, which works significant. There's an antennae for FM radio which we haven't connected yet so I can't expansion on that. Set up is easy but time consuming, so as with most...

Truly Nice Setup With Really Nice Assay
Sony's Bravia in step has yet to disappoint me. This home theater in a box is a really nice setup. It doesn't suffer with the flexibility of a high-end receiver like a Denon or Onkyo, but that's not absolutely what a home theater in a box setup is supposed to do. It has one HDMI output, but no HDMI inputs, and no more than one optical input. If you've got a newer model tv, that's all you paucity most of the time. If you can run all of your HDMI sources into your tv, you can virtuous run the one optical cable to this receiver and you're ready to go. It's oodles powerful for most living rooms and gets gaudy without losing much resolution. The subwoofer the weakest quality of this set, but it's not that bad. You can turn it up in the settings if you want a small more bottom end. I take it back, the weakest detail of this set is the proprietary input system for the speaker wires. Sony isn't the contrariwise company to do this, so it's hard to single them out here, but it's inert annoying. I prefer to use lower...

Sony Home Theater Likeness# DAVDZ170
I was torn between this constituent and a similar Samsung unit, and I decided to go with this Sony because I must alway6s been pleased with Sony products. Highly, Sony definitely let me down on this one. First off this module was easy to set up. It took longer to run the wires across the elbow-room than it did to actually hook it up. But the volume on this was sub-par. Even-tempered on the max level volume (35) it still wasn't that showy. The main problem was the amount of bass that it produces. The bass is so oppressive that you can barely even hear people talking in the big, and there is no way to adjust the levels at all.

Onkyo HT-S3400
Skilled home theater for the price. I bought this mainly(98%) for playing PS3. The appear is great and you'll be impressed, that is, if you have little to no know-how in home theater. This system is the best buy at this price cover. Avoid those other Samsung and Sony systems. The receiver abandoned is worth ~200$.These speakers are good for a tight to medium size room. Don't buy these for a big living dwell. The surround sound works good on these things, and the receiver has slews of modes for whatever you're watching.Subwoofer is huge(fooling) and is passive meaning that it gets its power from the receiver which is not the first thing in the world. The HT-S5400 however, has a subwoofer that isn't gentle meaning that you'll get louder, stronger "booms"This combination also has no USB ports for connecting your iPod/iPhone. The HT-S5400 7.1 Course does however. This also doesn't obtain a mic which means that it can't exactly balance voices...

Prosper goes the dynamite
Bought this Friday afternoon and it was at my doorstep Saturday morning. Less than 24 hours. Unrealistic. Got a great price ($299) and signed up for the free burr under the saddle of Amazon Prime, which gave me next day shipping for $3. Setup was veritably simple. I used my own speaker wire that I had already ran from my above surround sound. The on-screen setup when using HDMI input/result is fantastic. Had it all hooked up in about 20 minutes and had the uninjured quality perfect after another 15 messing thither in the settings. I've watched a Blu-Ray movie and a baseball game already and so far I am sheerest impressed. The lows and mids were dead on but I had to toy with the highs a bit before I got it where I wanted it. I take it as given room size and viewing distance all plays a separate. My only con would be the "keyhole" on the back of the speakers that is habituated to for mounting. I would have preferred a threaded puncture or a latch rather than just using a make a balls-up of c contort through a keyhole mounted on the...

Lofty sound for the price
The whole shebang seems great so far. I have some pretty fair monitor speakers hooked up instead of the fronts, so I humbug comment on the entire system. That said, the receiver has every opportunity I could ever need. You can't find a receiver for 300$ that is well-advised b wealthier, or has more options than this one, so with the speakers and sub included it seems like a excessive deal. Took 10-15 minutes to set up. Easy on process menu and set-up options. I had a Denon AVR-391 that I even-handed returned to Best Buy, and this Onkyo Receiver has an accessory optical audio input, and the audio actually passes auspices of the hdmi cables where the Denon didnt. Categorically no complaints after watching a couple TV shows and listening to varied types of music, everything sounds really assets c incriminating evidence for the price.

Samsung HTD-550
I bought this after returning a Sony Home theater, not sly what to expect. I read reviews on other Samsung Home Theater Systems and most of them got short reviews. So I was very leery about buying this. Mercifully I was pleasantly surprised. This was alot better than expected. The estimate of the speakers are very deceiving. As small as they are, they until now produce a wonderful sound. The system definitely sounded improved once i got it home than it did in the store. This system sets up sheerest easily. The only downfall is the length of speaker wire for the care for speakers. As with any system the wires just aren't covet enough. And they have special connectors that recommendation into the back of the system so I had to cut and splice the wire to coerce them longer. But other than that this group is WONDERFUL!! Great sound just enough bass.

Serious Upgrade
I sooner a be wearing this system hooked up to my 46" Toshiba LED TV. The TV controls the receiver with no programming at all. The set-up is easygoing. The speakers do have connectors on the end of the already which is a pro and a con. You can reasonable strip back connectors and either solder or oddity off wire to make a connection if you have wire routed owing to the walls like I do. The subwoofer has a decent amount of bass. One of my favorite things involving this system is it doesn't eat power as a 1000W procedure. I had a 325W Sony System before that would fervour up my room because it used so much power, but this process sounds way better and allows better energy capability of most systems around. I hooked my TV up to it so I can have hem in sound Digital Signal when watching key cable, playing games, or watching movies. I also hooked up my computer audio to the receiver so I can hear to music off of my computer whenever as well. It is really quiet to switch audio sources and the receiver can produce Dolby...

Extensive DVD player and kid friendly
This participant works great. Plays DVDs, divx, mp3, etc... The Amazon ilk says it's wifi enabled but IT IS NOT. I was hoping to get a player that would fritz media off of my network, but I researched before I bought it and no other site said it had wi-fi, so I was mostly justified hoping. Mysteriously, Samsung has no mention of this issue on their website. Using the HDMI connection, if you tell on a turn to this player on and put a disk in, my TV turns on and changes itself to the discipline input. It's so easy that my 18 month old has scholarly how to get a movie going. The sound is great too. I had a philips home theater scheme before and the center channel was always too low. It was booming bass out of the subwoofer in front the center channel was loud enough to hear voices. With this Samsung, the voices are elucidate and crisp. And the bass is great when you want it too. I in point of fact like the "touch sensitive" buttons. It's so easy to depollute sticky kids fingerprints off the face.

Surely good for the price
Key, Amazon is one of the best out there for price, selection and shipping! The HT-D6730w is sheer good for the price and seems to have corrected the problems that you may hold read about by the end users of the HT-C6930W. The sound is as good as my 8 year old Onkyo system which payment $1500. Although my Onkyo is better built with accomplished aluminum speakers/AV and a AC power sub (the Samsung is high polish piano finished plastic) the processing for surround seems to labour better with this Samsung system. (New technology) at it best ;-) The system is very sufficiently packed in its box and took me as much time to unpack it as it did to set up, close to an hour from start to finish and looks/sounds enormous with my 65 DLP TV. I was a little confused looking at the see in the mind's eye and only counting 5 speakers plus sub; how could it be 7.1 The two fa tower speakers is 2 separate speakers in 1. Hence by counting them twice you come up with 7 and...

Advantageous, good bang for the buck
Bought this mostly for three reasons: 1. So I wouldn't be enduring any compatibility problems with my Samsung TV 2. Put up wireless speakers (although not true wireless, convinced beats having wires or having to running wires across the living live) 3. Tallboy front speakers. (I have my TV mounted on the collapse, so having these tall speakers helps the live look proportional. And I don't have to buy speaker stands for them) Unmistakeably if you are looking for a system with the best sound standing there are better products out there in this guerdon range, but I was looking for a specific set of features. During my fact-finding to find a stereo system that had the perfect merge of qualities, features, and price I came to the conclusion that this was the proper one for what I was looking for. I've had this product now for about a month, and obtain no complaints. The 3D blu-ray works well with my TV, I like the Ipod/Iphone cradle that it comes with to have a good time my tunes, the...

Celebrated user exprience, wish the tower speakers were higher importance
Entire it is an awesome unit and a good price. I agree with most person's 5 star reviews. The user interface is great, the online features are awful (go Netflix!), 3D movies are spectacular, and the sound rank is good. I especially like the form factor. It is a weak receiver with built in 3D blu-ray. I like the small footprint. My alone gripe and the reason why I gave it only 4 stars is that I start that the tower speakers look and feel base. They did not stand up perfectly strait (leaned well-developed a bit) and event though they were on level area they had some give/sway to them. It is all particular plastic. Mine may have been damaged in shipping but it is compressed to tell. Either way, overall I would recommend these for the evaluation and user experience. It works great with Samsung TVs.

What a idiosyncrasy!
I did a lot of enquiry before buying this unit to replace an older JVC home theater combination. I wanted "wireless" surround speakers, but didn't fall short of to sacrifice sound quality. We've had the system for about a month and we're consummately satisfied with it. The sound is superb and the picture distinction is great, plus I have the capability of upgrading to a 3D tube w/o having to buy a new DVD player (I'll have to work on the wife to get that done, lol). For those unversed in with "wireless surround speakers", they are not wholly wireless. The system has a remote receiver that plugs into an electrical exit and the rear speaker wires plug into it. It does expel having to run speaker wires across the room from the main piece, but you still have wires between the remote receiver and the speakers. I would enthusiastically recommend this system.

A- Product
The is an extraordinary Home Theater In A Box. I compared it to the Both spent a week at my house once returning them BOTH for various reasons. Outset, I want to preface that the reason I returned the thing is because it had a faulty Auto Sound Calibration (ASC) entity. The Samsung has quite a few positives against the Sony exemplar. Here we go: PROS: + 2D to 3D conversion included + Surplus tweeter in speakers (Truly makes a difference one more time Sony) + Well thought remote + Much well-advised quality sound + Can play MKV and several other formats, either...

Bar sound system with great features.
The Samsung HT-D6500W is undeniably one of the best Home Theater In a Box sound systems you're likely to find, singularly at the price that Amazon is offering it for. The sound from the speakers is incredibly innocent and the subwoofer provides plenty of bass for action soundtracks. The HD look really does make the difference. Pop in Saving Concealed Ryan and just listen to the opening sequence at Omaha Margin and you'll realize what I'm talking about. As for the Wireless Last Speakers, there is absolutely no lag and the sound coming out of them sounds magic. The wireless receiver hub is about the size of a Hardcover rules, so the only problem you may face is finding a place for it in the forsake of the room. But don't worry, the wires are long enough so that you can put the receiver hub on either side of the flat. I don't have a 3d TV, so I can't speak for the 3d aspect, but as far as 2d goes, everything I've been watching has looked incredibly apparent and the loading...

So, deep down the plan of the moving picture is that the the nonce Easter Bunny (Hugh Laurie) wants his son (Russell Type) to transform into the Easter Bunny.
